There are many different genres that make up the musical category of Latin Music. Each of these genres have their own unique style, history, and cultural signifigance
Task
For this quest you will chose to investigate one Latin music genre.
Process
1. Choose a Latin Music genre (excluding Salsa because we already explored it in class).
2. Using the internet research the music genre and consider the following:
- What is the history of the genre?
- What elements make the genre unique or stand out?
- What instruments are commonly used in this genre?
- What are major themes of the popular songs in the genre?
- Who are some of the most influential people in the music genre and what made them important to the genre?
- Feel free to come up with your own questions to investigate.
3. Keep a record of the information you find because you will use it for your final assignment of the unit.

Evaluation
Students will get full points for finding information to that answers every question directly included in the webquest. Students will lose points for each piece of missing information.
