Introduction
Students are going to have a WebQuest to complete prior to their essay assignment. This will be a warm up for what they are going to be expected to do when they write their essay. This will take students to different sites where they will gather information about certain people and events then write about how they are significant.
Task
Students will be completing a WebQuest having to do with World War I. After completing the WebQuest, students will be writing a brief essay about two significant groups of people and their importance/contribution to World War I.
Process
By using the websites provided, students are going to chose two groups of people. Choosing between women, doughboys, native americans, immigrants, or african americans, they will write a brief essay on their contributions and significance to the war.
Evaluation
Students will write a brief essay summarizing two important groups of people and their importance/contributions to the war.
