Chemical Changes

Introduction

Chemical changes are all around us, they often happen in the real world and go unnoticed. However, unlike physical changes, a chemical change alters the molecules inside an object that make it up.

Task

Today you must identify how chemical changes affect an object/substance.

As well as identify several types of chemical changes and write a detailed explanation of a chemical change that occurs daily.

Process

How do you find out if a change is a chemical change?

Here are some signs of a chemical change:

-Change in Color

-Change in odor (or odor in general)

-Formation of bubbles

-Change in temperature

Evaluation

How do you know it's a chemical change?

Here's a video linked below that explains common examples of chemical changes and what they are

Conclusion

So, we know that chemical changes are big changes that involve changing an object/substance down to a molecular level.

If we know this, how do chemical changes compare to physical changes?
