Introduction
Good Afternoon my grade 4 students for today’s lesson we will be focusing on Mean,
Mode, and Median.
Mean is the average of the given numbers and Is calculated by dividing the sum of the given numbers by the total number. For example
the mean of 1,5,8,3,6,1= 24/6
Ans=4
Mean- The most frequent number—that is, the number that occurs the highest number of times
For example The mode of 4, 4, 2,2,2, 4,4,4, 3,3,3, 2,2,2, 2,
Mode = 2
Median- The middle number; found by ordering all data points and picking out the one in the middle (or if there are two middle numbers,
taking the mean of those two numbers).
For example: The median of 1,1,1,5,6,
Median =1

Have Fun
Task
The students will:
1. Watch and listen attentively to the video, so that they can respond to the questions asked.
2. Indicate clear understanding by providing their view and reasoning when responding to questions.

Process
Here is the link for the videos explaining what are Mean, Mode, Median

Evaluation
Students can use Google Forms to complete the worksheet.
Rubric for the worksheet
| Criteria | Marks |
| Define mean, mode and median | 3 marks |
| Multiple Choices | 1 marks each |
| Finding the mean, mode and median | 3 marks each |
| Accuracey | 1 marks |
