Conclusion
I have heard it said that "It takes a village to help raise a child". When professionals work together to support, encourage, train, trust, etc a very effective learning environment is the result. It is important that the classroom teacher supports and informs their educational assistant as much as they can. Equally as important is the role of the principal to choose the right educational assistant for the right classroom and then monitor and continue to offer opportunities for further education. When a school has an open, positive, and inclusive atmosphere children will learn to their fullest potential.
