Introduction
it is no doubt that a good language background is an essential part of studying the English language. A student has to be competent in their speech, grammar, cohesion and vocabulary. A whole sociolinguistic system has to be developed by the time a student enrolls in applied English major. There are various ways to tackle this mission. One of the most if not the most effective way of learning the English language is practice. Practice makes perfect after all. You can practice with your class mates, online chats and even with native speakers which has proved the most successful. Upon extensive practice the first year student will be able to hold a well structured 5-10 minute chat with anyone. And even more importantly it is crucial in this period to take classes where you can apply your practice to be even better like: public speaking, oral pronunciation and phonetics. This insures the student a solid grasp of the English language.
Task

This way the student will be confident with his progress as well as honed many English skills to use in real life situations let alone university.
