The spinning of the Earth around its own axis causes day and night. It takes approximately 24 hours to complete one full rotation. |
Revolution: Revolution is the movement of the Earth around the Sun. The Earth takes a full year (365 days) for one complete revolution around the sun. The path of the Earth moving around the Sun is called an orbit.

Task
Students will be divided into groups of five where they will decide on the role of each group member in order to carry out their tasks effectively. The roles will include a flight captain, a navigator, a data recorder and a flight engineer.
In the Web-quest students will be required to go on a mission to complete different tasks based on rotation and revolution. Each group will be given a different task.
