Teacher Page
My name is Dante' Russell and I am a college graduate from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in Social Studies with a concentration in history. History is the story of our lives as well as our livelihood and brings everyone into the context of the very highs and lows that our humanity has to offer. Teaching gives me the ability to place my influence into students who are trying to become people by giving them the respect and nurturing that this job requires. While pursuing my degree, I became better equipped in many of the social studies disciplines. This has enhanced both my knowledge and appreciation of the different religions, cultures, and traditions from the world over. Learning how all of these aspects intertwine in telling specific stories has turned me into a historian-in-training. Each moment of history has its own personal touch within the world waiting to be shared.
