Regular Verbs: No one likes you Irregular verbs you are too complicated

Irregular verbs: Speak for yourself people love the challenge, you are so boring! All you need is 'ed' at the end of your words. I have surprise elements.

Regular verbs: Ha Ha Ha very funny! How do you get ate from the word EAT? It makes no sense. Play - Played makes more sense!

Irregular Verbs: Let's settle this once and for all. Let us ask the students! Do you prefer regular or irregular verbs?

 

In the previous class, we discussed the definition of verbs and examples of Regular and Irregular Verbs.

Evaluation

Write a letter to a friend telling him or her what you have learnt about regular and irregular verbs in the past tense.

15 marks. Must be submitted to your google classroom. 

Conclusion

Verbs are action words. They are classified into two categories regular and irregular. Regular verbs are formed by simply adding ed to the end of each word while irregular verbs are formed in other ways rather than adding ed at the end.
