Introduction
On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas, TX. With the use of the research performed through this WebQuest, you will determine if the perpetrator, Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, or if he was aided by accomplices who were never discovered on the day of the shooting. You will work in groups to conduct your research, deliberate on ideas, and build your personal understanding of the subject.

Task
We will spend two classes in groups to conduct research and build understanding of the situation. It is important to remember what was going on at the time in the US. Gain an understanding as to where JFK was in his presidency and what he was doing in the later months of 1963. Who was Lee Harvey Oswald? His background? Who else could have been involved (people or organizations)? Was there a second shooter? What was learned from the Zapruder Film?
Once research is complete, we will engage in a Socratic Discussion to deliberate JFK's assassination and the person(s) involved.
Process
Attached are links to help guide your research. Please look at the materials attached as they will greatly benefit your work and knowledge of the subject. Once you have researched the attached links, you may also do research of your own, BUT be sure that the sources you are using are trustworthy and reliable.
