Welcome to Ms. Kendra's lesson on CAPITALIZATION!!
What is capitalization?

Well, I'm glad you asked! Capitalization is when you put a capital letter, or the uppercase letter, to important word or words that need one!
What word or words would that be? Examples include
- Names (Jim, Bonnie, etc.)
- Titles (Mr., Mrs. Dr., etc)
- Places (Tennessee, Seattle, Wisconsin, etc.)
- Days of the Week and Months of the year (Monday, November, etc.)
- Holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.)
- Companies ( Target, Home Depot, etc.)
- Brands (Nike, Adidas, etc.)
- The first letter of a sentence (My dog is sick.)
Now you know! And just in time to help me out with this next activity!
