BUILD A CITY

Introduction

Hello constructors, welcome to the construction site!

I hope you remembered your tools and your hard hats because today we will be doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Today we will be learning about the functions of a city and the importance of a sustainable city. After you will be designing and building a model of your own version of a city to present to the class. Before you begin your quest, I need you to be ready to create a plan and take notes on the different things you learn as you go. As you continue, I want you to think about 3 questions; What are some things that you see in your neighborhood or town that you'd like to include in your design? What are some buildings, services, or recreational spaces you'd like to include in your community? and what is the geographical terrain of your city?
