Form a group of 4 to complete the following activity.
- Choose 1 product from the 5 products below.
- Do the planning, routing, scheduling and loading for your chosen product.
Planning
- Draw the layout of the factory.
- Draw a diagram of the flow of your materials.
- Decide what materials you will use and how many you will buy.
Routing
- Decide whether you are going go buy your materials and how much you are going to pay for each materials needed.
Scheduling
- Decide the time allocation for each production process.
- Decide the order in which the production process will happen.
Loading
- Assign each member of your group a task to complete.
