Introduction
Imagine not being able to hear sounds and unable to balance. Ear is the organ of hearing and balance, it has three main parts; External ear, Middle ear and inner ear. Sound waves travel into the outer through the ear canal until they reach the eardrum. The eardrum passes these vibrations through the middle ear bones or Ossicles into the inner ear. The inner ear has a shape of a snail and is called Cochlea. Inside the Cochlea there are thousands of tiny hair cells. The vibrations are sent to the brain through the hearing nerve, then the brain tells you that you are hearing a sound and what sound is it.

Conclusion
The ear is one of the body's most significant and sensitive sensory organs. The brain interprets sound waves from the ear and allows us to differentiate between various types of sounds. This webquest was created to teach you about how your ears operate, the key components, and how to care for your ears.
