Students will engage in listening and reading tasks with their parents in order to complete the creative and retelling tasks (Dodge, 2002) outlined in the process. Students will learn about their holidays through discussion with family, and then share with classmates. They will engage in all language domains, although emphasis will be on speaking and listening.
