Introduction
Task
In this task, you will be required to come up with an event and create a budget for that event.
Once you have been able to come up with any event of your choice, you are required to create a chart using Microsoft Excel.
After you have created your desired chart you are to analyze your budget and state which item will be spent more money on and which item will be spent less money.
Process
Step 1: Open a new Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
Step 2: Type in Column A row 1 the first item on your budget and go on until the last item
Step 3: In Column B row 1, type the desired amount each time.
Step 4: Select all your data.
Step 5: Click on Insert Tab
Step 6: Click on Charts and choose the desired chart you would like to use for your event.
Step 7: Once your chart has been created, format your chart with appropriate chart elements (Chart title, x-axis & y-axis, data labels)
Step 8: After creating your chart you will then write down your budget analysis and analyze which item will be spent more/less money on.

Conclusion
A chart is a tool in Excel that allows you to visually communicate data. Charts help your audience understand the meaning behind the numbers and make it much easier to show comparisons and trends.
