Teacher Page

In this Webquest, you find a grade 9 English lesson on how to analyze cartoons and how to answer questions about cartoons as well as videos of the lesson to give further explanation.

Steps to take when creating a Webquest for teachers:

Building blocks of a WebQuest are:

  1. The Introduction orients students and captures their interest.
  2. The Task describes the activity's end product.
  3. The Process explains strategies students should use to complete the task.
  4. The Resources are the Web sites students will use to complete the task.

Teachers provide their students with the documents that include links to websites to use the information, according to the activity. The purpose of using WebQuest is to encourage students to use information rather than gathering it and participate in meaningful classroom discussions
