Introduction
Task
You are to use the links, video and image provided in the process stage to gather the information about these figures of speech [Idiom, alliteration, onomatopoeia, simile, metaphor and personification]. After you brought that all off, you are to compile a power point presentation with audio, writing about your findings on these figures of speech following this order: definition, identification and give 2 examples for each Figure of speech.
At the end of this task, the learners will be able to:
*Define the term figure of speech.
*Identify and define each figure of speech.
*Give examples of each figure of speech.
The learners will be graded using a rubric out of 50 marks for this task.

NB: Learners are to be awarded 45 marks maximum with the rubric. The 5% goes towards the audio recording that the students need to use for their POWER POINT Presentation.
Conclusion
To sum up today's activity, We learnt of 6 figures of speech namely: Idiom, alliteration, onomatopoeia, simile, metaphor and personifications. We learnt of how to identify and explain each one of these figures of speech and give examples. We also learnt why do we use figures of speech and when to use them.
Now i want each learner to reflect on what they learnt on today's lesson [Web Quest] to see if they grasped and understood the content of this Web Quest. Can each learner define, identify and give examples of each of the figures of speech covered today?
i would like for each learner to reflect on their results for this Web Quest Task to see where they can improve. For more fun learning activities and lessons on more figures of speech, i will attach a link to a Kahoot learning resource so each learner can access it at their convenience.

This Web Quest was created by Mr YK Sogoni to promote collaboration and ivolve the learners and parents more in the digital education of the 21st century. This task is designed to help the learners acquire critical thinking skills which they need for their daily lives encounters. This task also has an activity that will allow learners to portray their creativity and writing skills with the power point and audio presentation.
It is very imperative for learners to be good users of language and this task achieves that objective and allows learners to be creative and learn more about the language.
