This lesson plan is for a 3rd grade ESL pull-out group. There are 10 students in this class. According to the last 2020-2021 ACCESS test, these students have a low English proficiency level, they scored from 3.0 to 4.0. One student was born in Honduras and the other nine were born in the United states but they have families in Mexico and Honduras. Their reading is on grade level; however, they still need to practice reading and writing.
The following modifications and accommodations will be given to the students who need differentiated tasks.
-They already have solid, liquid and gas visuals on this WebQuest
- They will need to write only one story about changes in matter.
- They will need to answer only to one of their classmates.
