Dribbling at football

Introduction

Opening question: Who has ever played football?

Put your hand up quiet if so.

Then we ask: Do you stil play it or just sometimes with friends andd what do you think about it?

Task

We are going to look at a site wich contains the basics of dribbling with some activities:  https://soccermodo.com/dribbling-a-soccer-ball/

After we finshed looking at the website, we are going to look at a videos of a guy eplaining the basics of dribblling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naEccnjzLxM

When we have seen the site and the video, we are going outside and practice a little. Then we can see what the kid learned from it.

After that we go back to the classroom, we are going further with mistakes you can make while dribbling.

We're looking at the following site:  https://footballtechniques.co/5-mistakes-football-players-make-that-keep-them-average/

Then we show a video of the mistakes you can make while dribbling, so they have seen it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7nDBqN5cR0

After all the information from the instruction video's and sites we have a small quiz for them:

Process

We start the lesson with a question, so we have a sight of who plays football.

Children who already play footbal, will improve there dribbling technique. While children who don't play football, they will learn the basics about dribbling. The can learn from it, because we are going outside to try a few activities with them.

After we've done that, they wil look at mistakes people make while dribblling. We show the mistakes, so the children can look at what they must not do while dribbling.

At the end of the lesson the children will make a quiz: https://create.kahoot.it/share/quiz-football/00211829-1a6e-43f0-8672-afc1a651b87d

Evaluation

We want to see that the children have gotten better while practicing. Through the quiz, we also see whether the children have followed the lesson well, because there are questions about what we discussed or viewed in class.

Conclusion

The children can now dribble after this lesson
