Introduction
This week we are learning about Ruby Bridges a six-year-old African American girl who was the first girl brave enough to go to an integrated school. The term Integrated means things or people have been brought together so that they live or work together. They're no longer apart or segregated they are united. This means Ruby is going to an all-white school and she was very brave about the whole situation. She was going to be the only black person there which means she had no other kids she could personally relate to.
