How do cells help us?

Introduction

Cells help us in verios types of ways.Cells They provide structure for the body, they take in nutrients from foods. cells take  those nutrients and convert it  into energy, and carry out specialized functions.

Task

1-What do researchers think is one cause of memory impairment related to

growing older? What does new research show that may be able to help

reverse this process?

2. How might fat cells be able to help people with spinal cord injuries?

3. How are frog eggs being used in research involving human cells?

4. What are Schwann cells? How are they affected in multiple sclerosis

patients?

5. What role do cells play in preventing the stomach from digesting itself?

Process
  1.  Old people have decreased blood flow towards the brain which causes memory loss.

  1. Fat cells can be used to make tissues and support the spinal cord so that is how they help.

  1.  Amphibian extract may take adult DNA back to stem - cell state.

  1. Schwann cells are embryologically derived from the neural crest. They myelinate peripheral nerves and serve as the primary glial cells of the peripheral nervous system  insulating and providing nutrition to axons.  Schwann cells  protect the degrations of the nerves blocking thromis. a blood-clotting protein that can also damage nerves.

  2. It is lined with epithelial cells which can make mucus.

Evaluation

We learned about How researchers think the cause of memory loss and information is related to growing older we also learn how much fat cells might be able to help people with spinal cord injuries then also how frogs are used to research involving human cells what are Schwann cells and how do they affect in multiple sclerosis patients and what role do cells play in preventing the stomach from digesting it self.

Conclusion

How decreased blood flow towards the brain, fat cells used to make tissues and support the spinal cord, how amphibian extract takes adult DNA back to the stem - cell state, what Schwann cells are and how they affect the multiple sclerosis patients, and why cells prevent the stomach from digesting itself.
