living systems

Introduction

For so many years scientist have been studying the human body system and there functions. There's a lot of information on the web about the system of life including, how frog eggs used to research human cells, how fat might be able to aid people with spinal cord injuries, if old age is the cause of memory impairment and how they can reverse it, and how the stomach protects itself from digesting itself. In this WebQuest we will be exploring new things in different cells, how the human body works and a summary of a topic.

Task

Now that you have learned what we are exploring, we will also explore questions and answer about the different cells in our bodies. We will also explore information of how cells work in the human body and the studies and write a summary about one of the topics.

Process

1. Proteins that protect and adjust brain cells and stimulate neural growth and to not accept with age. Usually the older communities blood decreases its flow to the brain, which can damage memory and direct to changes in sensitive skills. Researchers found that a specific protein can reverse this problem.

2.Adult fat cells assist mice heal from spinal column trauma. In recent research, mice can be a resource for cell substitutes to cure central nervous system disorders in humans.

3.Premature frog eggs can restore mature human cells. In a frog's nucleus coax, adult humans, and mouse DNA return to a flexible, stem-cell-like state.

4. Schwann cells work as the myelinating cell of the  PNS and support cells of peripheral neurons. A Schwann cell models  myelin sheath by coating its plasma membrane concentrically all over the inner axon. This is a disorder in which the body attacks itself.

5. The primary way the stomach keeps itself from eating itself is the acidic surrounding. It doesn’t eat itself because it is surrounded with epithelial cells, which makes mucus.

Conclusion

In conclusion, completing this WebQuest I have read about study's involving cells which helped us answer questions about different cells. Like how the stomach protect itself from digesting itself and how frog eggs are used to help human cells. Now you try to research these topics.
