Introduction
Bullying affects everyone, especially children. Bullying is related to many negative outcomes, such as suicide, potential connection to school shootings committed by students, and behavioral issues. As surveyed in the Bayside area of Virginia Beach, Virginia, bullying is a significant issue at Bayside Middle School. Bullying can threaten students' physical and emotional safety at school and can negatively impact their ability to learn (StopBullying.gov, 2021). The purpose of this WebQuest is to grow funding that will ultimately provide a proposed plan to keep the children of Bayside Middle School safe from bullies.

Task
The Anti-Bullying Organization's mission is to bring awareness to children bullied in schools, through education. Offering effective anti-bullying education can bring school-age students one step closer to learning in environments free from abuse and harassment from other students. The Anti-Bullying organization will implement this plan by incorporating a buddy table that will be monitored by a school security guard and counselor to ensure the buddy table is used properly. We want to ensure that every child is safe at school. The Buddy Table will provide a safe place for students to sit who are seeking new friends to eat lunch with, walk to class with, or play with.

The anti-bullying organization plans to raise funds by hosting a community event in the Bayside area of Virginia Beach. The event will be a community cookout with food and drinks. The tickets will be purchased upon entrance for all-you-can-eat food and drinks for $10. All proceeds will go towards providing a safer environment in Bayside middle school for all students through anti-bullying education and The Buddy Table.
Process
The Anit-Bullying Organization is seeking a grant to provide funding for bullying prevention services and anti-bullying education. The objective is to encourage and equip adolescents in middle school with non-violent strategies while preparing students mentally and physically. In addition, provide a buddy table for students who are in need of a safe and friendly space. We believe that effective anti-bullying education can bring adolescents one step closer to learning in environments free from abuse and harassment from other students.

Bayside Middle School has a total of 789 students, of which 86 have reported encounters of being bullied and 116 fights without injury. The effects of these actions have caused failing grades, students refusing to return to school, weight loss, and behavior changes. The anti-Bullying organization plans to establish a positive school environment/climate. Schools surrounded by a positive climate help promote healthy development. We want students to be in the safest, most comfortable school climate. Providing appropriate measures in preventing one child at a time from being a victim of bullying will decrease dropouts, increase academics, and build self-confidence.
The goal of the Anti-Bullying organization is to protect students who are victims of bullying at Bayside Middle by creating a safer environment so that students can learn and perform effectively while at school.

Evaluation
Bullying is prohibited and not tolerated in Virginia Beach public schools. Therefore a form of action needs to take place to assist with this matter. Although bullying is not prohibited it is still happening, and students are being affected. Please let Anti-bullying organization be the change for Bayside Middle School students.

Conclusion
Consequently, as a child in middle school, I was a victim of being bullied. I remember wanting to drop out of school, having depression, and hair loss due to stress. No experience is a good one, I would not wish this on any child. School is designed for children to educate and teach children how to be good citizens. The Anti-Bullying Organization would be a suitable program for Bayside middle school. Let's help make children feel safe again!
