Introduction
As you enter the roaring 20's and begin to explore the many aspects of this time period, you will start hear jazz music in you and mind and think about Way of life in the 20's! You will be faced with the difficult challenges of what caused the economic boom? Who was responsible for these changes? Did everyone benefit from this economic boom? How do we get here? This WebQuest will help guide you to and through some of those questions. After using this WebQuest, it will enable you to determine the cause and effect of this time period through power points, graphic organizers, and quizzes.
Task
This lesson requires you to complete FIVE specific tasks:
Task 1: View The Roaring Twenties Visual Vocabulary PowerPoint, while taking notes using The Roaring Twenties Visual Vocabulary Organizer.
Task 2: Review the Economic Boom 1920s America in pervious power point, then independently take notes using L.A.C.K. P.A.N.T.S. organizer. Then click on the resource link under task 2 on process page. This will give you a more in depth look at our countries Economic Status in 1920.
Task 3: View The Roaring Twenties Key Figures PowerPoint, then independently work to complete The Roaring Twenties Key Figures Match Up worksheet.
Task 4: View Cause & Effects of the Roaring 20s PowerPoint then, work with a partner of your choice to complete effects of The Roaring Twenties organizer.
Task 5: Take The Roaring Twenties Quiz with your partner from task 4.
Process
To begin, students will work independently on task 1-3. For task 4 and 5 students will work together to complete the task.
Task 1: Open the link for The Roaring Twenties: Visual Vocabulary PowerPoint, then open the link for the The Roaring Twenties: Visual Vocabulary Organizer. Use the visual vocabulary organizer to actively take notes while studying the visual vocabulary PowerPoint.

Task 2: Use the same visual vocabulary PowerPoint from task 1 to study the LACK PANTS slides. Then you will complete the LACK PANTS work sheet to study the Economic Boom in 1920s America.

Task 3: Open the link for The Roaring Twenties: Key Figures PowerPoint, then open the link for the Key Figures of The Roaring Twenties Match Up worksheet. Use the Key Figures PowerPoint to match up the Key Figures on the Match Up worksheet.

Partner work should have both names on assignments and only 1 copy of the assignment should be turned in.*
