Task
Many people believe that landfills solve our waste problems. This is however untrue. Most landfills are full of hazardous materials and substances that are harmful to our health, environment and the Earth as a whole.
What can you do to reduce waste?
Students will create a poster board presentation explaining what they can do to help reduce waste.

Conclusion
I hope you had fun learning about recycling and reducing waste that ends up in our landfills everyday. As a class we will began to recycle plastics, paper, and aluminum during this entire month.

This Webquest was created to help make learning about recycling fun. There are many songs, stories, and educational videos created for recycling and reducing waste. I thought it would be a great way to show the students that this is an important responsibility for everyone to be a part of.
