Example of dialogue greeting :

Talita   : Hi Renata, how are you?

Renata : I’m fine thank you And you?

Talita   : I’m fine too, How’s your business?

Renata : Oh, it’s going up this year. Would you like to have a cup of tea?

Talita   : I’d love to but, I have a lot work to do. I’ll call you this afternoon.

Renata : Okay. Take care.

Talita   : Thanks. You too.

Process

Step 1

The teacher gives a brief summary of the contents of the dialogue.

Step 2

Students listen attentively when the teacher reads or delivers the dialogue at normal speed several times.

Step 3

The next step is for students to repeat what the teacher said in the dialogue at the same time.

Step 4

The repetition is then continued from all students then some students in the class until only one student at a time.

Step 5

Then in pairs students in  front of the class to practice the dialogue and role play. 

 

 

 

Conclusion

Have an open mind when your practice in front of the class greeting class as english is fun.
