Introduction
Students will get familiar with good quality american rap music.
In this WebQuest, students will look at few examples of rappers that have skills. Websites will be provided to help guide you through the process and answer questions provided.
Task
Upon completing this WebQuest, students will have to listen to some of prime rap music. The main goal of the project is to choose the best rapper from American rap music based on opinion of whole group.
Students will be working in groups of four.
The presentation should last roughly between 5 to 10 minutes and should answer some of the following questions:
- Who is the rapper?
- What does he specialize in?
- Are his feat. verses better or worse than his original work?
Process
You will first be placed into groups of 4. The presentation needs to be at least between 5 to 10 minutes and everyone needs to participate in presenting. Each slide should be fairly brief and have pictures on them. While presenting you should just expand on the topics on the slides and don't just read off of them.

Evaluation
You will evaluated on the following points
- does it describe the basic characteristics of rapper you chose
- does it describe the chosen rapper's at least 3 cd's and their styles
- does it include his at least 5 featuring appearances
- does it include pictures of any equipment used during production
- does it include early stages of the rapper's life
Conclusion
After performing this WebQuest you should have a better understanding of the rap music and understand lyrics better.
