Introduction
In the modern age, it's a lot easier and more engaging to watch a show or movie. Many times, these shows or movies that we watch consist of short, one-shot, stories. Although it's hard to imagine a world without these short stories, there was a time where short stories were not respected. However, due to efforts of several authors, such as Raymond Carver, in the American Short Story Revival, short stories are ubiquitous.

Today, in order to learn more about the American Short Story Revival, you will research 5 passages written by Raymond Carver.
