Christopher Hitchens

Introduction

In this WebQuest, students will learn about a British-American Author named Christopher Hitchens. They will learn about his famous works and loads of information about the author. They will use the internet to gather information, articles, and some texts done by the author to better understand where he stood in society.

 

Task

First, you will select a text done by the author and answer some following questions. 

Then, you will reflect on an article that you've read by typing a paragraph describing the main idea of the text.

Finally, you will watch a you tube video to learn more about the author.

Process

1) Click on the link and select two articles that appeals the most to you in which you will read

2) Answer the following questions for each article you read:

- Which article did you read?

- Describe the tone of the author and why do you think they are using this tone. Does the tone shift throughout the passage?

- What would be the exigence for this ? What made the author want to write about this?

- Is there anything else you will like to know more about the author?

Evaluation

Your work will be evaluated based on the thorough detailing in your answers and the completion. 

1- one word responses, not answering questions, thought process is not developed.

2- thought process not developed, questions are somewhat answered

3- questions are mostly answered, detailed answers, mostly developed thought process

4- everything is amazing !

Conclusion
