Announcement is relating to learning English functional text is an official notification about information. So publicly people know what, when, and where it is about.
There are two ways to give public announcement in English. You can use written or spoken announcement. Written announcement is telling people about information trough written and spoken announcement is telling people about information in form speech or spoken by people.
Task
You are going to understand how to give announcement to practice giving public announcement in written and spoken the form of a video.

Step 1
This task is in individual, so you are going to reading the material explanation first by the link below,

Step 2
After you understand the material, You must choose 2 the types of announcement that will be used, one for written announcement and one for spoken announcement. Then create the structure of announcement by types that you have choosed.

Make pubic announcement in written and spoken based on the types announcement that you have choosed.

Introduction about this WebQuest
This WebQuest is created for students in 10 grade of High School to help them make and give announcement. The students are taken to step-by-step process of getting to know what, how, and examples of giving announcement are. The project will be done in indivdual and submitted in two weeks.
About the Learners
The target users of this WebQuest are High School Students who are interested in giving announcement.
About this Project
The Students are assigned to complete this WebQuest. Students must to do all steps in the process part of this WebQuest to prepare them to create their own project. The teacher give them two weeks to finish their project. The teacher should be available for consultation till the students are ready to submit their project. The submitted project is then assessed based on the evaluation rubric presented in the evaluation part of this WebQuest.
