Introduction
Have you wanted to explore nature lately? Or wanted to go on a walk/hike? This is the time to go outside and explore nature and collect items!
Task
On the nicest day of the week, our class will go on a nature walk around the school. Each student will have their own bags to collect nature items.
Process
Each student will have a bag and will collect whatever they like. Including leaves, pinecones, rocks, and whatever else they like. The walk will take about 20 minutes. We will go over rules of walking as a class and staying together.
Evaluation
The students will be able to present what they collected to the class during circle time. They will be able to use their items for fine motor activities and/or for art.
Conclusion
Each student needs to collect at least 5 nature items and needs to present them to the class for teacher to know that the student participated.
