This web quest is a brief study of various jobs and of vocabulary used in the workplace.
Introduction
How many jobs can you name?
Doctor, nurse, architect, receptionist, etc. Lets explore some other jobs that you might come across.
Task
You have the task of teaching each other about different jobs that people might have in the United States. I hope that you can create interesting and detailed presentations to help others in the class learn about your group's topic.
Process
Step 1
I will put you in groups of 2-3. Each group will be given a job to explore. You will use the following websites to gather information about your topic. Think of vocabulary words that you can teach to your classmates related to the job. Write down the most important information about your group's topic.
