Task
This WebQuest is about how Americans are persistent and how many chose to start-up businesses. You will learn about how companies stayed afloat and how new businesses succeded.
Process
2020 to early 2021 was considered a startup boom. A startup boom is a period where there is a large increase in the number of businesses started up. Many businesses were made custom for the pandemic such as mask designing companies and online grocery services. Others were made to help out impoverished people during quarantine who may be struggling to find jobs. Many of the companies that did not adjust to quarantine such as restaurants and travel and transportation services lost large amounts of money due to people staying home ordering food. In order to fix this many restaurants began to offer a delivery service. While there isn't much that transportation services could do to adjust, one solution was to make transportation safer by requiring riders to wear masks, use hand sanitizer, and show proof of vaccination. older businesses also stayed afloat during quarantine by making Covid related merch such as masks.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Americans are hard workers who find ways of getting around blocks or obstacles. the main way Americans did this was by starting up new businesses. New businesses didn't just help out the owner they also gave jobs to people who really needed them. Americans will always find another way.
