Introduction
This Webquest is for Kindergarten students to review letters and their sounds.
Task
Students will watch a YouTube video with Jack Hartman about letter sounds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WP1blVh1ZQM
The, students will review the letters an their sounds using the sound chart.
Next, the students will do an interactive letter sounds activity where they say the name of the picture they see, and they are to choose the correct beginning sound of the word in a field of 3 letters.
Process
Students can do this activity independently or in a small group with their school-issued chrome books.
Evaluation
I will evaluate students individually. I will use the following rubric to assess your letter and letter sound knowledge and listening skills.
A score of 3 is Mastery. A score of 2 is Developing. A score of 1 is Emergent.
I will be looking for how well students are following directions and how well they match the picture to the correct beginning sound.
