Question 1
Record the following transactions in to the general journal of BJ traders. Use the template that is provided to complete the task.
3 Write off the account of R.OWE as irrecoverable debts of R300
9 B.GOOD(debtor) is declared insolvent. His estate paid a first and final dividend of 0,20c in
the rand per EFT R292. Write off the balance as irrecoverable.
14 The owner withdrew stock valued at R15000 for personal use.
16 Charged debtor A. Andy 10% p.a interest on her overdue account of 3 months. She owed R600.
19 The owner donated stock valued at R990 to the Children’s Home. It was mistakenly debited as
Drawings.
