Ancient Anatolian Civilizations

Introduction

We are all living in Anatolia, but do you know what happened around this area in the past?

With this webquest, we're taking you to the lands in thousand years ago to find out what happened then.

Here is an old map of Anatolia.

Task

Let's learn about Anatolian History!

In this project, you are going to be a guide in a museum. It's time to teach now! You are going to talk about what you learned from resources given in the process section. You can use anything you find on the internet. You can use notes while presenting but it's better if you don't.

There will be a group of 4 and each student should talk to the visitors about one civilization.

Each student in a group has 3 minutes to talk about unique features of Anatolian civilizations. All of the group members should speak. You are also going tell the visitors what archeologist found in excavation work.

The Ancient Civilizations are:

  • Hittites
  • Phrygians
  • Lydians
  • Ionians
  • Urartians
