Introduction
We know all know about superhero(ine)s. And sometimes, we dream about what we would do if we had supernatural powers just like them. How would our story be? Would we save the world or just use the supernatural powers for ourselves?
In this webquest, you will learn about popular superhero(ine)s and make your dream come true, at least for a minute!
Task
For this task, you will watch a short video of superhero(ine)s introducing themselves. Then, you will make research about superhero(ine)s. After that, you will imagine that you are a superhero(ine) and make a poster about yourself as a hero. Be prepared to present your posters in the classroom!
Process

- Visit https://en.islcollective.com/ and click on ESL Worksheets. Search for "Superheroes" using the search box.
- Look at the worksheets and explore superhero(ine)s' characteristics (What are their superpowers? What do their costumes look like? etc.).
- Now, imagine that you are a superhero(ine) and ask yourself these questions:
- What would your superpowers be?
- What would your costume look like?
- How would your background be (Family, friends, private life, etc.)?
- What would you use your superpowers for?
- Visit https://www.canva.com/ and make a poster of the superhero(ine) you imagined.
- Click "Create a design". And choose "Poster".
- You can click "Text" to describe yourself. You can click "Elements" and search for different types of images, graphics, backgrounds, etc.
- And click "Download" when you are finished.
- Lastly, you will present your posters and your characters for 1-2 minutes in the classroom.
