The Thirteen Colonies

For this project, you will be required to create a digital presentation to convince other colonists to come live in your colony.  You will choose one colony.  Your colony will be one of the colonies you read about in your reading material for each colonial region. You will need to decide which digital presentation you want to use to create your project.  After creating your digital presentation, you will turn it in to your teacher.  

Here are some examples of the digital presentations you can choose from to create your project: 

• Prezi
• Haiku Deck 
• Glogster
• SlideShare
• emaze

You will research your colony.  You will need to find at least 3 reasons someone would want to move to your colony.  Think about what is positive or great about living in your colony! 

Your final project needs to include: 

• Title 
• A persuasive slogan to attract other people to come live in your colony
• Images 
• At least three key points that showcase your colony
• A creative and colorful digital presentation
• Interesting and persuasive presentation 

Don't forget to tell me where you got your information in a Works Cited section.
