Task
Impact of industrial action on the economy
•The violent strike can leave a negative image on south Africa
•Investors may pull out of south Africa due to instability
•Decrease in exports
•More job losses If the business decides to close down an increase in unemployment
•Many workers might replace workers with machines to reduce industrial action again creating and increase in unemployment
Influence of industrial action on employees
•Loss of wages due to not working
•If industrial action employees might be in a weaker position than before
•A loss of employment due to the business being closed due to extended industrial action
Influence of industrial action employees and business
•Industrial action has a negative effect on employers as the employees are taking industrial action the productivity is decreased or even non existent so the business might not be able to meet deadlines eventually losing contracts so the business is losing a source of income again decreasing probability and customers may not even buy products or are dissatisfied with a product as their quality decreases again leaving the business to deal with their waste product as it now a waste letting them run in a loss and also if the employees demands a higher a wage this means the business has to give out more money which decreases profit
