Through this activity, you will learn about the dangers of the cyber-world and how to protect yourself against them.
Knowing about these issues will make it so that you will be able to keep your computer and everything in it safe.
Task
Within the next 3 lessons, you will be completing a WebQuest.
You have been assigned online resources relates to the topic: The Dangers of Computer Crime - These resources will be used to research to research the topic and answer questions.
A PowerPoint presentation will also be made based on the topic.

Learners can choose to work individually or in groups of 2 only.

3. Protecting Yourself against Computer Crime
Create a PowerPoint Presentation in which you showcase the ways that one can protect themselves against computer crime.
- The same design theme should be present for your whole presentation.
- You must use pictures (At least 3) which you can either take from the websites given or find your own.
- Your information must not be too lengthy (Use short sentences/bullet points instead of paragraphs).

You receive medical bills for services you didn’t receive.
You don't get bills in the mail. This could mean someone has stolen your data and changed your billing address.
You're turned down for a loan. If you typically have strong credit and expect to be approved for the loan, this could mean an identity thief took out loans in your name and damaged your credit.
