Introduction
Dreamers with a future coming!
Many of you might already know what to do in the future. However, most of you have doubts about it or do not even think what to do next. Our objective today is to be aware regarding the world of options that you have!
Well, apart from that, we will continue working with the Cornell method table, as last week, to take notes and organize our ideas.
Don’t be shy, let’s work and wake up your mind!

Task
Let’s start!
![]()
As teenagers, you are in a process where you have to make some decisions soon. However, it is not the time yet! But meanwhile, you can think about it. And what better way to do it than with someone else's experiences and opinions.
At following, a mission is waiting to be accomplished. This duty has 4 steps that contains some videos, new vocabulary, note-taking with the Cornell method revised in previous lessons, some writing exercises, and a chance to share your own opinion and thoughts.
Process
It's time to work!
You will work individually, with your computer or with pen and paper.
Step 1:
First, a video is waiting for you. All you have to do is to be prepared, so grab your pen and paper, or you can work right here. You have to watch the video, pay attention to the different people talking, and have in mind what they are saying. Meanwhile, collect all that information and put it on the Cornell Method table to organize your notes.

Step 3:

Now, we need more options!
So, below you will find a video that shows you some little dreamers and their expectations in life. Also, some elderly dreamers that by sharing their knowledge will give you some clues to continue your work.
Watch the next video and listen carefully to what they are saying. Then, answer some questions related to the video and your personal opinion. You can answer in your copybook or google docs. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IrHofyRGoWYft_lXP1GQjALkR2o-Vdee5g_QzBEr63M/edit?usp=sharing
MY DREAM JOB (REACT: Opinions) - YouTube
1. Do you feel identified with the opinion of the little dreamers? which?
2. What do you think about what elderly dreamers say? Do you agree with them?
3. As a child, what was your dream job?
Step 4:

Congratulations!
You have reached the final stage. Now the last step to complete the mission is to organize your thoughts and share with us what you think about how your future is going to be. So, the commands are:
Write down a paragraph (around 5 lines) about your expectations in life. The piece of writing should include: One choice, the reason why you select it, why do you think it is appropriate for you. You must include vocabulary from the preceding steps.
We know that it is possible that not everything is clear now; However, try to choose an option and tell us why you prefer that. Consider that from the previous steps you have plenty of alternatives. So wake up your mind and figure out which one fits better with you!
Here are some ideas:
- In the future, I would like to be...
- My expectations are...
- I will rather be a... than a... because...
- I'm not completely sure yet; however, at this point, I would like to be...
You can complete your final mission in your copybook or google docs https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IrHofyRGoWYft_lXP1GQjALkR2o-Vdee5g_QzBEr63M/edit?usp=sharing
You're done!!!!!
