Teacher Page
This Webquest is to get the students to form a opinion on their own about unions, the article I found was one of the few that didn’t bash unions terribly or that didn’t praise them. I thought it was well balanced both pro and con. The idea is to get them thinking for themselves without much other influences on the topic. The questions are just ones that make sure they paid attention in the article, they second part gets them to dive into the union more that just what they might hear from friends and family members, or other influences. You can adapt this lesson to a classroom by having this done in a debate style or class discussion, if done in a classroom you can have them do the research then have a student lead discussion where the teacher just moderates.
