Introduction

You are going to travel to Europe!
You participated in sweepstake last week, and you were the winner. You won two tickets to go to England in the next month, accommodation and food are also included. But you already have to choose the city you are going to visit.
Task
You have to make a travel planning.
To make this planning, you have to think about:
- The city you want to visit in England
- The day you are going to travel (how many days you want to stay there)
- The place where you are going to stay (hotel, hostel, flat, ...)
- What you are going to do each day (places to visit, tourist attractions)

You have to use the platform Canva to crate the planning or any other platform like it.

Students will share their planning with the other classmates at the end of the task.
Process
1 - Choose your destination
First, look at the map and read the article "15 Very Best Cities To Visit In England" to choose your destination

Google Maps:

Article:

2 - Choose the date

What day are you going? What day will you be back?
Consider:
- the climate: in the summer or winter? in these days the place is going to be very cold?
- the festive days: is there any celebration in the city during the days you are going to stay?
3 - Choose the accommodation

Search on the website for lodging reservations, Booking, the best accommodation to stay in the city.
Consider :
- the location: is it in a good region? is it near downtown? is it near the places you want to visit?
- the hotel room: is it big and comfortable? does it have a double bed?
- the services: does it have internet? breakfast is included?
4 - The itinerary
![]()
List the thing you are going to do each day. You can see some recommendations in TripAdvisor, Yelp and Google maps.
Consider:
- the touristic points: what are the more famous and visited?
- the traditional places: are there some traditional restaurants, for example?
| Day 1 |
Morning: ___ Afternoon: ____ Night: ______ |
| Day 2 |
Morning: ___ Afternoon: ____ Night: ______ |
| Day 3 | ..... |
Remember to separate the places to visit considering the distance between them. For example, in one day you can visit some point in the south part of the city.
