Helen Keller

Introduction

Helen Keller was an American educator who overcame the adversity of being blind and deaf. She was born being able to hear and see but got sick at about two years old and the illness took away her hearing and sight. After this WebQuest, you will be able to describe Helen Keller's incredible life. She learned to overcome obstacles and accomplish things that would seem almost impossible, but you will learn how she had a wonderful teacher who helped her achieve the ability to communicate and go far in life.  

Task

To learn more about Helen Keller please:

2. Read the information from the website.

3. Create a graphic organizer.

3. Create a graphic organizer with four or more struggles and four or more successes you learned through the video and website. An acceptable graphic organizer would be a T-chart, but you can use another if you like. Also, include a paragraph about how you would feel if you were both blind and deaf. What do you think your life would be like?
