Introduction
Hello everyone !
Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, online education is no longer a preference, but a necessity. As you had a chance to experience both traditioanl education and online education, you are already familiar with the benefits and challenges.
In this Webquest, you will start writing argumentaive essay on Online Education.
Task
As a student who experienced online education in Turkey during Covid-19 pandemic, you are required to write an argumantative essay on online education.
In the essay, you are going to discuss whether online education is beneficial or challenging.
You are supposed to find 5 sources to support your argument and create an outline for the essay. You are expected to indicate your sources at the end of the outline.
Note: You are going to write the rest of your essay next week in class.
Process
1. First of all, decide whether you find online education beneficial or not. After you decide, you can start looking for sources for your argument.
2. Search for necessary information such as articles, news, or videos related to your topic and collect all the data you need in order to support your main argument. Do not forget,you need to find 5 sources that supports your main argument. For example, if you are going to argue that online education is beneficial, you need to support this argument by statistics or articles that matches with your argument.
3. Create an outline for your essay. You are supposed to use the outline template provided in the Teacher Page.
4. Your outline should include four components: Introduction, Body parts, Conclusion and References (5 sources you found )
5. After you complete writing your outline , exchange it with one of your friends and give feedback to each other.
