Introduction
This lesson is grounded on the simple past tense. The subject is leaders in history.
Important leader in history: Genghis Khan.
Student's age is 15 and they are in high school with CLIL classroom. Their level is pre intermediate.
Class capacity is 25.
Task
You will listen to a podcast about Genghis Khan in the given link.
Then you will prepare a worksheet that contains the irregular verbs they have found in the podcast
Finally, students will prepare a poster by writing short stories with the irregular verbs they have found earlier.
Students will display their posters to the class and hang them on the panel at the end of the class.
Students have 90 minutes to do this.
Process
Students will take notes of irregular verbs while they listen to the podcast.

You should include the following areas in your work
-List of irregular verbs on the podcast
-Poster has to contain at least 6 stories with sufficient irregular verbs.
-Stories have to be completed using the simple past tense.
-Teacher will provide students with the visuals for their poster.
-Other students will make comments on your posters.
-At the end of the class favorite poster will be put to the school panel for display.

Conclusion
At the end of the lesson, students will learn how to use simple past tense in all four skills and this activity will help them learn and remember irregular verbs. Students will develop group skills, share their ideas with each other; and will learn new things about the biggest empire that has ever ruled the earth.
