Digital Citizenship can be defined as the responsible use of technology.
This concept has been broken down into 9 elements by Mike Ribble. We will be looking at and applying a few of these elements to our own learning and use of technology.
The elements used for the following activities are as follows:
- Be Safe- Digital Rights and Responsibility: Users understand that the requirements and freedoms are extended to everyone in a digital world. And they should defend and protect those rights of themselves and others
- Be Savy- Digital Fluency: Users fully understand how to use technology to enhance their activities/tasks.
