This webquest will help you teach children the importance of friendship
Grade:Preschool-3 grade
When you say friendship, what is the first thing that comes to mind? How do you make friends? Why do we need friends?
Friendship is so important is a child's life and it continues to be so important all through a person's life. They are there for us, to listen to us, and to help us be ourselves.
Task
You are going to find out how important friendship is and why we need them. You will need to get into a group for this task and discuss why you think friendship is important along with why you are friends with the people you are friends with.
Process
Once the children are done discussing those questions on a why friendship is important bring the group back together and have them tell you what they all said. Then watch this video on why friendship is so important, discuss (video 2). Watch the video how to make a friend and discuss (video 1). As the teacher wright down everything they say for the group discussion and the video discussion.
Evaluation
Here is how you will be decide if you are a good friend, and what you need to do to be a good friend.
Conclusion
Now that you know how to make friends and the importance of making friends. Now lets spend some time making friends, either it is during play time, school time, or outside of school out in the community. Let's go be the bestfriend we can be!

Thank you for visiting my webquest page and learning how to teach children the importance of friendship along with how to make a friend. This should be a quick and easy way for preschoolers up to 3 graders to learn friendship. You can also use this for distant learning but instead of doing group's having them tell the parents.
This should only be a day task, about 30-45 mins.
