Ever wonder how many different types of clouds there are?
There are 10 different types of clouds, clouds are made of water droplets. Clouds are important because clouds can predict different type of weather. There are three different level, each level has different type of clouds. The low clouds appear to be less than 6,500 feet, mid-level cloud appear to be around 6,500 to 23,000 feet, and high clouds appear to be around 16,500 to 45,000 feet.
Task
Students will be separated into group. They will create a powerpoint and use the clouds that are assigned to their group their powerpoint:
- Cirrus
- Cirrostratus
- Cirrocumulus
- Altocumulus
- Altostratus
- Nimbostratus
- Cumulus
- Stratus
- Cumulonimbus
- Stratocumulus
The powerpoint must be creative. One cloud per slide with at least three facts per slide. Must include sources. Students will have to present in a group.
Process
Each group will need to determine if their clouds are low clouds, mid- level clouds, and high clouds. Each group is also responsible for predicting what weather each cloud brings.
Group 1: Will be responsible for using cirrus, altocumulus, cumulus, and stratocumulus.
Group 2: Will be responsible for using cirrostratus, altostratus, and stratus.
Group 3: Will be responsible for using cirrocumulus, nimbostratus, and cumulonimbus.

Conclusion
In conclusion, with the WebQuest, students will be able to identify different types of clouds and learn to work in small groups. Students will also learn how to navigate powerpoint. It will benefit students to explore their knowledge and powerpoint.
